Priorities – It’s for the Kids!

Mark Thomas, Chairman of the Board of QDMA, captivates 95 Birmingham kindergarten children covered in a moose hide and wearing a lynx hat.  For over 30 minutes, Mark’s kept the children quiet and amazed with stories of the animals of North America.  From elk and caribou to river otters and bears Mark mesmerized his audience of 5 and 6 year olds.  For the finale the children got to touch the hides, wear the hats and feel antlers and cockspurs.  My hat is off to Mark for making time in his very busy career to share his time and stories with children.

QDMA is fantastic resource for anyone wanting to learn about habitat and how to improve our land for healthier deer and wildlife.  Check out their website at http://www.qdma.com/
