Every fabric finish we have tested will wear out with enough use. A fabric can be waterproof on one side and wet on the other. THe DWR finishes help water bead off and help keep fabrics clean. We had the question asked “what would you use to renew the DWR finish on a cushion after a few seasons?” Of all the products we have tested, Granger’s is the product that we like the best. It works well and is available at most camping stores or Cabelas. It is odorless and easy to use and is reasonably priced. Developed in the U.K. Granger’s has a number of products for clothes, etc. – for a cushion use the tent and awning spray.

I received an e-mail about using our seats for driving – lots of driving. We have had this question quite a few times. What do I recommend…I thought about this last night as I sat on my John Deere equipped with an AllGel. AllGel’s are made as a dealer demonstration pad. Look toward the bottom of this page:

Yesterday’s response was this: We have a dealer who drives quite a few long hauls and he uses our Classic. We have a salesman locally who had us make an AllGel custom and he loves it. Drives a ton on it. I drive a lot and right now I am driving on the 1 inch Intelligel top top of our I-Core. Comfort is excellent. The gels in each of these products are super at relieving pressure, they help dampen the vibration and the gels quiet down road feedback that you feel in your backside over those long hours behind the wheel. Our office can get any of these choices out. 888-757-3232.
